It's called "Manziel-ing"

If you listen or watch the news, then you probably remember when people were taking a bunch of pictures where they got down on one knee, rest their head on their fist, and just looked like a bunch of idiots. The pose was dubbed "Tebowing" after Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow would do this as he prayed before games while playing for the Denver Broncos. Before Tebow, there was people sitting on the ground like some upset little kid that was called "Bradying" after pictures of Patriots' QB Tom Brady sitting on the ground in games began to appear all over. So what's the next stupid fad that's bound to come along? I would not be surprised if it turned out to be what I have come to call, "Manzieling" after former Texas A&M and current Cleveland Browns' QB Johnny Manziel started doing the act of rubbing his fingers together in the air (like he has money in them), which some believed was his way of mocking the investigation that he endured after being accused of signing Texas A&M merchandise in a hotel room and receiving $7500 for it.

He first did the action in the season opener against Rice after serving a half-game suspension for the allegations that were brought against him. After that, he had moments in just about every single game where he would do the move after throwing a or running for a touchdown. And if you watched the 2014 NFL Draft, you probably saw Johnny Manziel slide all the way to No. 22 to the Cleveland Browns and do his move once he walked on the stage. So why am I writing this article about some stupid little move that this bonehead kid did? Well, I've seen the photos of people doing it and other pictures of Johnny doing his signature move with the "Manziel-ing", and on top of that, you can go on amazon and purchase a Texas A&M shirt or hoodie that has an amber-colored Manziel in the center doing his move in the air.

The whole concept of "Manziel-ing" is just so stupid that it ranks right up there with the dumb moves such as "Tebowing" or "Bradying". And like Tim Tebow, Johnny "Money" Manziel will probably see some type of success at some point in his NFL career, but I have to say that I don't think it go any different than what we saw from Tim. After all, just compare the two QBs careers at this point and you would see the similarities in: The Heisman Trophy, running the ball like crazy as a QB, being talked about as one of the Draft's best players, drafted in the late first round, has been told that he'll start as the backup and have to compete for the starting job, and now they both will have their fads that people will take pictures of over and over until we cannot stand it anymore. And also, does Johnny really want "Manziel-ing" to kick off so that his career is almost equal to that of Tebow's? I'm sure he sees where Tim is at now ( I think he's like an analyst on the SEC Network, right?) , and for me, that would be enough to straighten up and out and kill this before the worst comes.
